Happy Campers Tell Their Stories

Real words from real people

Beautiful campground on the river, extremely friendly host and afternoon happy hour.

Anthony D

I stayed here one night on my way back to Asheville from Highlands. The owner was very kind and communicative. The shower was hot and the WiFi worked great.

Allison J

Absolutely wonderful place to call home for a few days or even longer. The manager was very hands on, as well, the other campers were very nice and welcoming. Nice shady spot, very quiet and enjoyable atmosphere. Time definitely flew by, so wish the stay was longer. Will definitely return. Great experience and wonderful memories.

Adrienne S

Beautiful. We went tenting there arrived super late and the manager was very patient with us. All sites are right next to the river.

Pamela C

Really nice, small campground along the Cullasaja River. Very dog friendly. The owner, is a lovely person who sets the tone for the entire experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better time.

Nancy S

Very friendly and clean. Nicest in Franklin. Guests meet daily for happy hour at the Gazebo. Close to golf courses, Highlands, Cherokee, and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Sites are shady in back and open in front (which allows for satellite TV).

Helen W

Friendly owner. Beautiful campground. Stays booked. I’m a long time camper. Very dog friendly.

M Yow

Clean, friendly campground that everyone can enjoy. Pet friendly located on the Cullasaja River.
